We had a great first City Conversations event. We hope these events create space for people to come together and talk about the important things that concern us all. We hope this is a place where believers, seekers, doubters, and skeptics engage in conversations about how to live a deep, meaningful life. When thoughtful people come together to talk about important things with humble and honest dialog, we can help one another grow.
In this first event, Dr. Alan Noble, author and professor, gave two talks followed by a Q&A session. Both sessions deal with how a community can flourish in an inhuman world where hustle culture, technology, anxiety, and burnout are the norm. The broad focus was topics covered in Dr. Noble’s book, You Are Not Your Own: Belonging to God in an Inhuman World.
