1 Kings 17:2-7 | God's Hiding Place
Can you really count on God in the day-to-day stuff of life? This week, we watch the Lord send Elijah to an uncomfortable and uncertain place. God promises to care for his needs, but Elijah is totally dependent on God and his grace. When we learn to hide ourselves in his grace, it frees us from performance and pretending.

Elijah, the famous prophet. is a lot like us. He experienced moments of boldness and faith as well as times of loneliness and struggle — and he encounters God in it all. In this series, we’ll look on as Elijah powerfully calls down fire on the mountaintop, and we’ll watch when he wallows in dark days of despair. This series isn’t about becoming a hero; it's about learning to walk by faith in the God who meets us in the fray of life, and learning to trust the great Hero who came to rescue us and lead us home.
