Together: Community
You were never meant to do life alone. We live in the most connected age in history, and yet we're lonelier than we've ever been — and if we're honest, sometimes the church isn't much different. But following Jesus is not a solo pursuit. We need people who will encourage us, know us, and call us to become who God made us to be. This week we meet a man named Barnabas, whose friendship shaped one of the most important figures in the early church, and we'll see just how true this really is. We were created for community.

You may think of church as a place you go or a worship service you attend, but church is bigger than that. Church is a faith-filled community. Church is a family. Church is a team striving toward a goal. In spite of her imperfections, church is a gift from God. A healthy church functioning as God designed brings joy, encouragement, challenge, comfort, and deep relationship. In this series, we will look at how each of us makes the church stronger by our presence and our participation. We will see that we are better together.
